3 musicians - with their own caller with-in the line-up ! A compact ceilidh band,a compact sound - particularly for the smaller venue
As a barn dance band, with their own caller, they can cater for complete beginners up to those with knowledge of English and Scottish style dance.Jeannie, the caller, has a wide range of dances and it matters not if you're new to this -she will talk you through it!
The band can include songs, monologues and tunes between the dances so that your night can combine some concert material with some dancing.
Malcolm & Jeannie live in North Yorkshire, and have performed together for many years and in many formats. Between them, they play accordian, banjo, guitars (6 & 12 string) and percussion.Malc also writes and recites his own humerous monologues and they have a good repertoire of Northern songs from Yorkshire and Lancashire. Hilary lives near Bronte Country. A singer of ballads and chorus songs, she also plays fiddle and whistle - though not all at the same time ! - and joined with Malc & Jeannie in 2004
