VIOLIN Caroline won two violin scholarships in the 1980s at Birmingham Junior Conservatoire under James Coles. She was a violin student and diploma graduate at Trinity College of Music, London, winning awards for solo performances. Caroline completed her studies at the Royal Northern School of Music and now leads a freelance career in several musical genres including teaching violin in Shropshire

ACCORDION - Paul has been on the local music scene for many years now, having served time with Four Speed Box and The Peaky Blinders. He has played extensively for Ceilidhs, Barn Dances, The Walking Tall Theatre Company and Professor Clive Chandler's Punch and Judy. He has toured in Europe with Earlsdon Morris Men and was a founder member of A Band Called Frank. Paul and Caroline work as a duo for various events and functions and founded the band in 2004.

GUITAR/VOCALS. Alan was born  in Fife, Scotland and started playing guitar at the age of thirteen. Influenced mainly at first by rock guitarists, he began to broaden his guitabulary with both classical and folk. In his early twenties he began writing and recording as a duo called Abstract Art using earlier experiences to produce two CDs. Joining this ceilidh band was inevitable as the mixture of styles was what he wanted. As a vocalist the band gives him licence to try new ideas, ensuring the commitment needed to perform.

BASS GUITAR.In 1993 Steve (Spud) bought himself a bass guitar and taught himself to play in half an hour. In 1994,along with Alan,he was playing with a rock band until 1997 when he joined ' A Band Called Frank'. He played as stand in with the Meerkats, Endless Knot and Christy Pepper, before teaming up with the band. In his own words - "I am loving it!" (Oh !! nearly forgot.......Steve also works from time to time as a body double for Frank Skinner......err.........how lucky is that,Frank ??)
