VIDEO OF BAND - Visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-rq6l5ACWM

Established Ceilidh band based in Gloucestershire with a wide, versatile range of music from all parts of the British Isles and America.

The trio comprises melodeon, guitar and woodwind and will adapt their music and dances to suit events such as Scottish and Irish nights as well as Barn Dances and Hoedown style evenings - or just a good old-fashioned mixture of the lot! The band always performs with a caller (thus, 4 performers in total) to produce high quality, tight dance music.

This band is a very popular choice for weddings, parties as can be seen on their video clip.

(BELOW - from clients/Wedding on 22nd Sept 2012)

Dear Chris, Tony and band,

Firstly apologies that this email is being sent nearly a month after our wedding 22nd September, but we could not find your email addresses and as you can imagine things have been pretty busy since the event!!

Jon and I just wanted to thank you Tony and  your band for your wonderful performance at our wedding! Everyone had such a brilliant time and the ceilidh was so much fun it really made our, and everyone else’s, night! Jethro, you were a great caller and might I just add excellent dancer!! Apologies if we were all a little raucous, I think the Scottish contingent just got carried away!!

Hope your son's wedding went well Chris (and if he had half as good a time as we did it’ll have been simply the best day ever!!).

Many thanks again,

Charlie and Jon

(Oh Dear - and now Charlie's Mum has chipped in as below.........getting embarrassing now !)

<BrilliantBand & Caller @ 'Swell' Wedding 22.9.12

I intended to write long before now to ask you to pass on to the band & callerhuge thanks for their wonderful contribution to the fun & frolics at daughter Charlotte's wedding.

We alllovedit & greatly appreciated the band & caller going on even longer than planned.  I'm sorry you couldn't call yourself, but your 'stand in' was terrific once warmed up, AND wore an Anderson kilt (my own clan!).

The choice of tunes & dances, the lively playing & stamina of the musicians & subtle management by the caller of an increasingly boisterous crowd were appreciated by all & made a wonderfully enjoyable & memorable evening.

It was the first 'proper' ceilidh experience for most of the English, Irish, Welsh & Australians (!)there, and they made a point of thanking us for the ceilidh in particular, & swore they'd have to have a ceilidh fortheirmajor celebrations in future!

Ceilidh veterans loved the musicality & variety of instrumental combos, and we oldies particularly valued the volume - which wasperfect  -  loud enough to encourage everyone folk to take the floor, but not so loud that we couldn't converse easily.

Thanks so much.

Best Wishes for continued success >
